Master's Programs

There are three levels of membership in AUPHA available to Masters Programs in Healthcare Management / Administration wishing to access the benefits of AUPHA membership.  

Associate Graduate Program Membership

Eligibility:  Any academic unit providing a degree at the masters level in healthcare management in a regionally accredited university. Any program / university campus / academic unit in the US or abroad may qualify for membership.

Associate Graduate Members of AUPHA receive the following benefits and services:
  • Access to member-only information on the AUPHA website and Network, including teaching tools
  • HAMPCAS (centralized grad program application) participation for all graduate program members
  • AUPHA Directory of Programs Listing
  • AUPHA Directory of Programs access for to all member faculty
  • Journal of Health Administration Education subscription to all member faculty
  • Right to establish an Upsilon Phi Delta Chapter
  • Winston Scholarship eligibility for all students
  • AUPHA Exchange subscription to all member faculty/staff
  • AUPHA Network access to all member faculty and profile for each
  • Access to the Studer Group partner-only resources via the AUPHA Partner website
  • Discount for various partner publications and affiliated publications
  • Meeting Discount for all member faculty/staff
  • Complimentary access to most AUPHA webinars for all member faculty/staff
  • AUPHA Publication Discount for all member faculty/staff
  • Employment Advertising Discount
  • One complimentary set per year of AUPHA Program Director mailing labels

Associate Graduate Candidate Program Membership

Eligibility:  Any academic unit providing a degree in healthcare management at the bachelors or masters level in a regionally accredited university that has made a commitment to stand for CAHME Accreditation within 8 years of acceptance into Associate Graduate Candidate Membership. Programs will be required to submit a statement of progress toward the goal of accreditation each year in order to maintain Associate Graduate Candidate status.

Associate Graduate Candidate Member Benefits:

In addition to all of the benefits offered to Associate Program Members, Associate Candidate Members also have the following benefits:
  • David A. Winston Fellowship Eligibility for all graduate students in university

Full Graduate Program Membership

Eligibility:  Masters degree programs that are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education may be Full Graduate Members of AUPHA. Full Graduate Program Member Benefits:

In addition to all of the benefits offered to Associate Graduate  Members, Full Graduate Program Members of AUPHA receive the following benefits and services:
  • McGaw Scholarship Allocation
  • David A. Winston Fellowship Eligibility
  • Bugbee Falk Book Award Eligibility
  • Thompson Prize Eligibility
  • Filerman Prize Eligibility
  • HCA Corris Boyd Scholarship Eligibility for all incoming minority students (Graduate Programs)
  • Right to use of AUPHA Logo on printed and online materials
  • Additional faculty included in base dues (see below)
  • Board of Directors Eligibility for all member faculty
  • One Business Meeting Vote
