Student Case and Other Team-Based Competitions

Overview

Case and other team competitions are an excellent way for students to practice using the skills they have developed through their coursework. During these competitions, teams of students pose solutions to a complex problem that mirrors the real-world of healthcare management. Solutions are often judged by a panel of experts from the field. Most competitions require students to work in teams to analyze the case and craft their solution; some competitions require that teams are cross-disciplinary.

If you are interested in attending a case or other team competition, you should speak with faculty in your program.

AUPHA has attempted to comprehensively identify and list all of the healthcare management case and team-based competitions, divided by the type of students allowed in the competition. Each event has different deadlines and dates, so please refer to the pages linked below for more information on each.
