Bachelor's Programs

AUPHA offers two membership options for programs offering bachelor’s degrees in healthcare management education.

Associate Bachelor's Program Membership
Any program / university campus / academic unit in the US or abroad that offers a degree at the bachelor’s level in healthcare management education in a regionally accredited university. The program does not need to meet the AUPHA certification requirements in order to join as an Associate Bachelor's program member. 

Full Bachelor's Program Membership
Full Bachelor's Program Members meet the requirements above and have been certified by AUPHA.

AUPHA provides healthcare management education programs and faculty value, connection and distinction. 

AUPHA strives to bring value for every dues dollar.

All Bachelor's Program members receive:

• Member resources and access for all faculty and staff attached to the program, at no added cost.
• Free access to the Body of Knowledge & Curriculum Guidance. Non-members pay $1,750 per copy.
• Free access to the Environmental Scan and Trends Report and the Companion Piece. Non-members pay $1,250 per copy. 
• Free access to the Program Directors Manual. Non-members pay $1,500 per copy. 
• Free registration for most AUPHA sponsored webinars.
• Member only access to the Data Warehouse in the Center for Learning, Achievement, and Success (CLAS), which provides members access to a range of de-identified data from past surveys conducted with membership.
• Access to all digital issues of the Journal of Health Administration Education.
• The Exchange digital newsletter.
• Access to copies of curriculums, syllabi, and case studies shared by members.
• Discounted rates on AUPHA conference registration.
• Discounted rates on Art of Teaching Institute courses and certification.
• Discounted rates on Leadership Academy courses and certification.
• Discounted rates on Job postings in the Career Center.
• Discounts on ACHE Learn  books and exams.

Full Bachelor's Program Members receive these additional benefits:

• Display the AUPHA Certified logo to their program listing in the AUPHA Directory and in publications.
• Award $750 in Foster G. McGaw Scholarships annually
• Faculty are eligible to apply for the Gary L. Filerman Prize for Educational Leadership
• Faculty are eligible to apply for the John D. Thompson Prize
• Vote in the AUPHA Annual Business meeting – one vote per Full member program.
