In 2010, AUPHA published the Program Director's Resource Manual Version 2.0, a resource developed to assist program directors at the bachelor's and master's level tackle the various responsibilities of the role.
In 2025, AUPHA worked with members to refresh the manual, ultimately publishing the members-only 2025 Program Directors Manual. Edited by Lynn Downs, PhD, University of the Incarnate Word; Cathleen Erwin, PhD, MBA, Auburn University; and Maureen Jones, PhD, RN, Peregrine Global Services; the updated manual approaches the same topics with the challenges and opportunities of this decade in mind.
