What questions would you like to see on a survey directed towards women working in healthcare concerning:
  • the challenges they face and
  • what they need from a knowledge standpoint to assist them

Questions 1) Are you aware of any pay equity studies that have been done lately in your organization or unit to determine if you are being paid a comparable worth in relation to others in your unit ?
Question 2) I believe that questions should be asked to determine the variables of age, race, religion, and ethnicity.
Question 3) educational level and certifications received
Question 4) Are you a caregiver of an aging parent?
Question 5) Is there a clear career ladder in place for advancement
Question 6) Are selection, staffing and training opportunities consistent among units? If not, give examples.
