2025-2026 Environmental Scan and Trends Report and its Companion Report

In late March, AUPHA released two publications identifying trends in the health industry and higher education, as well as the perspectives of leaders on these issues: the 2025-2026 Environmental Scan and Trends Report and its one-time Companion Report. 
 
Underscoring the importance of the trends identified and discussed in both Reports, at this year’s Annual Meeting, the lead authors, Jacob Victory, MPA, New York University and Daniel (Dae Hyun) Kim, PhD, Georgetown University, will present the Andrew Patullo Lecture, Higher Education at a Crossroads: Breaking Point or Turning Point? The presentation will be followed by a panel of AUPHA members featuring J’Aime C. Jennings, PhD, The University of Alabama at Birmingham; Chris Johnson, PhD, Georgia State University; Chris Louis, PhD, MHA, Boston University; and Nir Menachemi, PhD, Indiana University Fairbanks School of Public Health to discuss the most salient trends and their implications for healthcare management education.
