We are excited to announce that the AUPHA Doctoral Student Essay Competition is now open for submissions. This annual competition invites doctoral students to share their insights and research on pressing issues in education and practice within health services, healthcare management, leadership and policy.
The top three submissions will receive:
- Formal recognition at the AUPHA Annual Meeting (complimentary registration and assistance with travel and lodging provided)
- The opportunity to present their work at the AUPHA Annual Meeting
- A monetary award
- Valuable networking opportunities with academic and industry leaders
We encourage you to share this opportunity with your students and support them in submitting their work. Submission guidelines and deadlines are available here and on the AUPHA website. The deadline to submit is Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:59PM PST.
