Financial Management

Ready
This body of knowledge encompasses topics from multiple domains, taught in health care management curricula as a consolidated course, generally referred to as "Financial Management in Health Care Organizations." This content examines financial accounting, managerial accounting, and finance concepts and procedures used for decision-making applicable to both tax-exempt and investor-owned healthcare organizations. The topics covered in this body of knowledge are separated into two broad subject categories most consistent with the concepts underlying the broad topic of "Financial Management" - Accounting and Finance. However, there is considerable cross-over in these two areas. Courses should identify distinctions, overlaps and relationships between the two fields.
