Long Term Care and Mental Health

Ready
This examines the continuum of long term care and presents an overview of the history, management and administration of long term care facilities and services and explores the financial and policy issues that affect long term care. Whereas the number of people in the US who suffer from chronic conditions surpasses the number of people who experience acute illnesses in any given year, the long-term care is a critical aspect of the healthcare delivery system and essential to a complete overview of US healthcare.

Mental health can be either considered as a sub-component of long-term care and integrated into coverage of the general topic or considered a distinct topic and covered separately.
