In addition, we will consider ways to assess who qualifies for entry to your program, suggest alternate pathways for those who don't, and support student success. Finally, we will offer suggestions and recommendations for protecting HCMN faculty from over extension in an era of rising enrollments.

Succession planning is typically the exception for most programs, where Program Director turnover is becoming more common, yet tranisitions remain uncoordinated and rough.  In this webinar, Joel Lee, DrPH from the University of Georgia and Stephen Mick, PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University discuss the challenges associated with the Program Director turnover and offer some tips on how to avoid disrupting your program's development during these transitions.  Dr. Mick will also address knowing when to leave the role of Program Director and what to consider when making your decision.  While there may be no one formula or road map for success, this webinar will address ways your program can begin the task of succession planning.
