After a long career with HCA as a registered nurse and hospital executive, Tracy Kemp Stallings (MSHA '95) has enthusiastically joined VCU’s Department of Health Administration in a new role as Director of Industry Engagement. In this role, she will work to improve the visibility of and accessibility to the Executive MSHA program, and will assist second year MHA students and preceptors with a meaningful match and residency process. She will work closely with the Executive MSHA and MHA program directors, as well as with the wealth of department faculty scholars and researchers, program coordinators, and other staff.

Roberta Tinch (MHA '09), COO and ECO for Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center was recognized in the July issue of Fredericksburg Regional Business Magazine. In the seven short years since graduation, Roberta has had a remarkable career, starting as an administrative resident at the Medical Center of Aurora in Denver, Colorado to managing 600+ employees in her current positon. A few of her career milestones include; overseeing a $60 million hospital expansion, responsibility for $20 million in hospital renovations, managing the strategic growth of hospital services lines and directing an ER renovation and revamp. During the Aurora theater shooting, Roberta worked diligently to assure patients and their families of safety and support.
